What we collect

• Account: a display name, handle, and optional city/province. No email or phone is required for a basic account.
• Activity: listings, offers, orders, bids, reviews, wallet ledger entries, and handoff events — the records the marketplace needs to function.
• Photos: images you upload to listings.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP, user agent) kept short-term for abuse prevention.

What we deliberately don't do

• No addresses between strangers. Handoffs run on locker codes; buyers and sellers never see each other's address through the platform.
• No selling your data. No ad-tech trackers. No third-party analytics profiles.
• No DMs between strangers — there is no messaging graph to mine.

Crypto payments

Stellar transactions are public on-chain by design. Deposits route to a platform address with an anonymous memo tied to your account; your wallet address and your ProxySwap account are linkable by us, and on-chain amounts are visible to anyone. Withdrawals go to an address you provide and are irreversible.

Who sees what

• Other users see: your display name, handle, reputation, reviews, city/province if you set it, and your active listings.
• Ops (admin key holders) see: full records needed to resolve disputes and moderate reports.
• Payment processors (when card top-ups launch) receive only what the transaction requires.

Retention and deletion

Ledger and order records are retained for accounting and dispute history. You can close your account; we anonymize your public profile while keeping the minimum financial records the law requires.

Security

Your account key is the credential — treat it like a password. Escrow and handoff codes are generated server-side and shown only to the parties of a deal.
